The Greek Prince’s Chosen wife is the second book in Sandra Marton’s Billionaires’ Brides series and it is magnificent! It begins in such a “fierce” manner, with all kinds of interesting twists and turns.
Damian has been in a perpetual bad mood for months because his past mistress had lied and cheated. She went so far as to tell him she was pregnant not once but twice with his baby and now, she is dead. Therefore, when he sees a stunning woman emerge from a taxi he is taken back. It’s been months since he’s been with a woman and this beauty catches his eye.
Later on one learns this stunning woman is Ivy Madison and she is expecting his child and is the stepsister of his conniving past lover Kay. However, how can this be? He has never slept with Ivy so how can she be carrying his child and future heir? Damian sees Ivy as another conniving woman out to get him and his money but he turns the tables when he demands she return to Greece with him so he can watch over her pregnancy and make sure she doesn’t pull a fast one. This proud Greek is just that…..proud, handsome, rich and stubborn and is determined he will win the battle and have his son. What he doesn’t count on is Ivy, this sweet, haunted and beautiful woman will reach something deep inside him and touch his heart.
This is such a lovely story especially in the final chapters. For starting out so forcefully, it’s ending is beautiful. Again, Sandra Marton has penned another emotional and passionate story in The Greek Prince’s Chosen Wife

Blown away is the only way to describe my feelings about this book. If you love passion, intrigue, spitfire heroines, and family secrets then you will love Seduced for the Inheritance.
Anna Marcus has returned to her deceased mother’s home to pack up her personal belongings. It has been sometime since she had been home as she finished college, married, divorced and bankrupt due to her cheating husband. It’s painful for Anna….the loss of her mother, being broke and to return to the place where she will probably see the man she loved so many years ago, Naldo DeLeon.
Of course, she runs into him and learns that his father passed away a few weeks after her mother. The reader will learn the DeLeon’s for generations owned acres of orange groves, many holdings, an estate and were among Florida’s most respected of high society. Renaldo DeLeon is not only powerful, rich and handsome he is stubborn, set in tradition and does not want his family secrets exposed at any price. He wants everything and is willing to do whatever it takes to get it all!
At the reading of the DeLeon will, Anna learns she is now the owner of her mother’s cottage, surrounding land, heirloom jewelry and more. She receives a shock upon learning her mother and Robert DeLeon were involved and in love for years. Letty Marcus had been the family cook at the DeLeon estate. She also learns because of her mother’s recipes the DeLeon’s retail business has increased many times over.
Of course, the jewelry and recipe book and the fact they have helped to improve the family fortune are not mentioned to Anna. Now add to the mix Naldo’s sister who wants some of the estate, a fire, and to top it off a scandal! This book is so hot sparks fly off the page.
There is a lot of bitterness in the storyline…..Naldo knows the true reason behind his mother’s death, and is suffering greatly at the loss of his father and has emotional issues with his sister. The DeLeon family name he would live and would die for instead of a family scandal. Now on his doorstep is the spirited Anna who is angry to learn about the affair. Anna is angry that her mother was good enough to sleep with but not to marry so she has decided to fight the DeLeon's and stay.
This was such a wonderful love story, so powerful and passionate. Just like the DeLeon orange trees in the groves “strong…..it’s was in their nature to heal and recover.” As Anna learned, “as heirs to a legacy of passion…..for the land and for each other….that nothing could destroy”. Bravo Jennifer Lewis on this incredibly spicy and very powerful book.
How long could she deny him?
She was the cook's plain-Jane daughter.
He was the estate owner's privileged son. Now Anna's beloved mother and Reynaldo DeLeon's wealthy father were gone, their clandestine affair exposed. In addition, Anna, who had secretly loved the gorgeous DeLeon heir, suddenly owned a piece of his family's estate. Which Reynaldo wanted back at any cost? He upped his price with every no that came from Anna's lips. Until her lips could refuse him no longer—

The Italian’s Defiant Mistress is India Grey’s debut book and it is smashing! Set in Florence and Venice it is full of fashion, glitz, glamour, celebrities and it is very exciting and alluring. Eve Middlemiss was on an assignment for a fashion magazine but more than that, she is on a mission to find out and expose the person who provided her twin sister with drugs and caused her death. Her assignment is to follow a supermodel and in doing so ends up on the runway herself. As she’s nervous and inexperienced she’s told to focus on something while she traverses the runway and she sees a tall, dark and handsome man who she’s immediately drawn to who ends up being Raphael.
Raphael di Lazaro and his half brother Luca are heirs to the di Lazaro fashion house. Raphael’s mission is to expose his brother Luca for what he is…..a “user” and supplier of drugs to models. Raphael has an axe to grind with Luca as his one time girlfriend left him, went to Luca, ended up an addict, and almost died. He is determined not to let his brother ruin or end another model’s life.
Eve is determined as well that she will expose a di Lazaro and make him pay for ending her sister’s life. She believes the responsible person is Raphael because she learns he has been spending some time in Columbia. Later that evening Eve meets up with both men at a party. When Raphael sees Eve with his brother, he feels honour bound to protect her so he grabs and kisses her senseless and boy do the sparks fly. Later he tries to send her home but the spirited and determined Eve refuses.
Eve and Raphael’s journey is passionate, painful and in the end full of sorrow. When Eve discovers she is in love with him and by chance sees Raphael meeting with his ex-girlfriend she misunderstands and flees. The pain she endures upon returning home and then having to reappear in Italy to testify against Luca di Lazaro will break your heart.
This story was an amazing look into the lives of celebrities and fashion models and reminds me so much of what’s now going on in the lives of young actors and in the music industry all over the world. It is certainly a lesson as to how destructive drugs can be in a person life. Then there is the important lesson of how things are not always as they look and how misunderstood and untrusting we can be of those, we love.
I sincerely and thoroughly enjoyed India Grey’s first romance book The Italian’s Defiant Mistress and I personally look forward to reading many more of her entertaining stories.
The Italian billionaire's inexperienced mistress Eve Middlemiss has come to Florence desperate for information. And only darkly good-looking multimillionaire Raphael di Lazaro, heir to the Lazaro Fashion House, holds the answers she's searching for.
Surrounded by glamour and decadence, Eve is totally out of her depth - until she realises she is the one Raphael wants! If becoming the Italian's mistress is what it takes to find out the truth about her family, Eve realises she must feign the sophistication and experience she's sure Raphael is accustomed to - but that means making herself available to his every desire...

Jack Howington III is sexy as sin, handsome as the Devil, and determined not to let any woman get to him let alone the sister of his departed best friend. He has come to Lake Tahoe to stay for a month at Hunter’s Landing. If he stays the entire time, the property along with the home will go to charity and help families.
Jack feels he let his friend down and was the cause of his death. He promised to watch over his sister Meredith upon his death but Jack watches from a far because there are too many memories, memories of a genius young teenager who loved and adored him. Therefore, when he arrives at the Tahoe home and finds Meri there he is speechless.
Meri has an axe to grind, she wants to seduce Jack and then walk away because she felt abandoned when her brother Hunter passed away and was left with no mother, no friends, no family and most of all no Jack. As a teen, Meri was over weight, thought her nose too big, had the IQ of a genius and no one other than her brother so when she sees Hunter she becomes determined to make him pay and seduces him.
At first, Jack is not game but she wears him down. She desires to rid herself of her feelings for Jack so she can move on to her boyfriend Andrew. Therefore, when Andrew appears on the doorstop, she is doubly confused and then becomes irate when Jack has Andrew investigated and exposes the snake for what he is…….a lying and conniving con man.
However, what hurts Meri even more is to find out that Jack never took his promise to her brother Hunter seriously and instead of taking some time to see if she’s was ok after Hunter died, he just had his team and some investigators watch her to make sure she was ok and that men were not using her for her wealth. She expected more of him and he let her down.
Readers will grow to love Meri…..her strength and determination to make a new life, to loose those pounds, have a little surgery to give her some confidence, reach out and make friends and most of all take care of her “nerdy” team of scientists. You’ll also learn to appreciate her “nerdy” team, how she takes care of them and how they respond when Jack spills the beans about Andrew. As for Jack, you’ll want to reach out and love him and make him see the light. Your heart will break for Jack because he can’t let anyone see the “truth about him, not the emptiness of his heart nor the darkness of his soul.”
In Bed with the Devil was the last story in Millionaire of the Month…."bound by the terms of a will, six wealthy bachelors discover the ultimate inheritance”. Again, Susan Mallery delivers an extremely entertaining, sensitive and at times humorous read. Even though I have not read the entire series, I think In Bed with the Devil tied all of the seven “Samuari” brothers into one final and neat package.
Millionaire of the Month: Jack Howington III
Source of Fortune: International Security Corporation
The woman he can never have: Meredith Palmer
When he arrived at Hunter's Landing, Jack got the surprise of his life. His best friend's shy little sister had become a breathtaking young woman—with an ax to grind. Still smarting over Jack's long- ago rejection, Meredith was now intent on luring the mogul into her bed…and her bed was right across the hall. At what cost would Jack keep a decade-old promise?

Amazing is the only way to describe The Italian’s Pregnant Bride. From the very moment, I began reading Nicolo and Aimee’s story I knew I was in for an exceptional read. The emotion, passion and attraction these two people feel for each other will have you burning the midnight hours away as I promise you will not be able to put this book down.
This is the first book in Sandra’s Billionaire Brides trilogy and if every male character is as charismatic as Nicolo, then the reader is in for sensational entertainment. You get a glance of each of this European princes’ and find they are old school friends, all wealthy, talented, sinfully handsome and have no interest in marriage.
Both of these characters so very dynamic, especially Aimee Black, who one learns later is the granddaughter to James Black the very man Nicolo is to meet later that week.
Nicolo is on a mission to add a New York bank to his empire, which he felt, would be his crown jewel. Therefore, he has travelled to Manhattan to meet with James Black. On his way his hotel, he literally bumps into a stunning woman who is so “prickly” and bad tempered that he kisses her in order to silence her…..had he gone mad? Later, he runs into her at a “private club” owned by a friend and shares an evening of passion with this mystery woman. She flees in the morning and he has absolutely no idea of her identity. Aimee has haunted him because of her insults and not accepting his apology. As he gets to know her he admires her defiance, her passion, her determination, fire and courage.
As luck would have it, he sees her again at the bank meeting and a bomb is dropped on both of them……James Black wants a union, a marriage if the sale is to go though. On top of everything else, Aimee learns she is carrying Nicolo’s child, a result of their night of passion. Of course being the strong alpha male he demands that they marry to give his heir the Barbieri name.
Aimee lost her parents at a young age, had never felt loved by her grandfather who raised her upon her parents death. She had always tried to prove herself and was in hopes of someday being promoted to the top to replace her grandfather at the helm of the privately owned and prestigious bank Stafford-Coleridge-Black. Aimee appears to be a strong person but underneath she was lonely and my heart ached for her especially when she realized she had left herself behind and began to ponder what she might have been……
This is where their journey begins….it’s such an unbelievable rollercoaster ride it will have you crying, your heart thumping and anxious to learn more about these two wonderful people. Sandra Marton has yet again, written a beautiful and entertaining story and for me, it will go on my top ten list for 2007.
He had to have her, from the moment he saw her. No names, no strings, no seeing her ever again…….
It was payday for Prince Nicolo Barbieri. The Italian aristocrat's negotiations to take over Manhattan's SCB bank were about to bear fruit. But he wasn't expecting Aimee Black, granddaughter of the bank's current owner— who was pregnant with Nicolo's baby!
Nicolo felt duty bound to marry Aimee and give his child his name. But Aimee had other ideas about surrendering herself to this arrogant foreigner, who surely didn't love her!

THE FIREFIGHTER’S CHOSEN BRIDE was amazing, moving, spirited, and the two main characters Finn McNeill and Shane Dwyer just “jumped” off the page and grabbed your attention immediately.
Everyone who reads this will fall in love with Shane……he’s handsome, sensitive, funny, generous and sexy as sin. He considers the men he works with his family and knows that his best friend’s sister, Finn McNeill is off limits. However fate has other ideas for these two and when they are literally thrown together, just sit back and enjoy the ride and their story.
Finn McNeill has a secret….she’s always had a crush on Shane but because of his occupation she shies away from him. You’ll learn she lost her dad at a young age, as a firefighter he passed away in a fire. You heart goes out to her as she struggles with these deep feelings and her love and attraction for Shane. It’s very powerful and moving. As Trish states, “When you love someone it's a risk. It always is. But that's just life. You’re the one who has to make the choice and live it." Personally, I took that risk and married a firefighter and I cherish those memories along with him and our children.
This particular book meant a lot to me as my husband was a firefighter for over twenty years and Trish has portrayed the profession and the brave men who choose it in an honest, honourable and believable way. This author has obviously done her research and it showed in this book especially what it means to the man, to the woman he loves, his family and friends. It is a brotherhood of amazing men and women and I thank this author for this amazing story.
If you like reading “boardroom” stories with happy endings then this is the book for you. The Boss's Demand is a simmering and at times, painful love story which will take you on a steamy and sensual journey.
The book begins on a sour note as Elan Al Mansur is telling his Human Resource Director that she must fire his newly hired personal assistant. And why one might ask? Because she is young, attractive and he only wants an older PA because the young women he has employed in the past are after him and his millions.
Sara Daly has a lot to prove to herself and her family. She has taken the responsibility to pay off the hospital debt her mother’s illness strapped her family with and she’s determined to become a success in the oil industry. She has worked long a hard to get her degree in business and geology and no stubborn boss is going to take that away from her let alone fire her on her first day of the job.
You will witness this stubborn woman proving herself not only to her boss, but to the entire company. However, she is strongly attracted to Elan and one evening she succumbs to his charm and charisma and becomes intimate with him. They both realize the mistake and try to get back to business on a professional level. Sara pushes herself to “painful” lengths to prove she is worthy and a professional in the industry.
What Sara is not aware of in the beginning is that Elan needs no one due to his past life with his family. At a young age he is cruelly removed from his family by a heartless and cruel father. What Elan does not like are his feelings of protectiveness and lust for Sara.
Jennifer's characters are both strong in similar yet different ways. The Boss’s Demand was a very enjoyable read and yet sad at times as Elan was an extremely lonely man and it took Sara’s gentleness to heal him because she saw the man himself, not the man of wealth and power.
Powerful oil tycoon Elan Al Mansur never wanted Sara Daly as his new assistant. Her lush curves and alluring scent would only prove a distraction to what mattered most to him: business. But one night in the desert Elan gave in to his desires, seducing the woman he'd sworn never to touch.
Four months later, his secretary revealed she was carrying his baby. Suddenly the stern businessman discovered he didn't want Sara gone at all. But would she agree to her boss's demand that she become his wife?

Annie West has yet again written another powerful love story. This is Annie’s second sheikh book and is set on a beautiful desert coast.
In the Sheikh’s Ransomed Bride (Annie’s first sheikh book) the reader learns that she has a sister Belle who is now the reigning queen of Q’roum and this book focuses on her sister, Rosalie Winter’s visit, along with her niece and mother. Rosalie one learns has come to Q’roum to celebrate her nephew’s birthday. Rosalie has a past, one she cannot escape and while on this visit her family offers to watch her daughter so she can relax and try her hand in a talent lost to her……drawing and painting.
Each day, Rosalie goes to the beach to swim and draw and while there reflects on her past of why she can no longer paint. For years, she has been haunted by an event which happened in college where her drink was “doctored” and she was raped and the incident resulted in a pregnancy and the birth of her lovely daughter. On one particular morning, she sees this handsome man riding on the beach along with his Arabian horses. She is mesmerized by their beauty and power along with their handsome and virile rider. Their owner is Arik, who is bored and frustrated from a leg injury, and has been watching Rosalie from afar. It is his plan to meet her and in the end, begin an affair.
After days of letting her draw the horses and the man himself, he realizes that Rosalie is timid and a little shy and that he will have to be patient to win her in the end. He proposes that he show her the sights of his city. In the end, for Rosalie it is a loosing battle and she surrenders to his charms trying to guard her heart. What she fears happens and she falls deeply for Arik full well knowing that he will never commit. He is a man who’s proud, arrogant and always gets his own way. In order to protect herself from further heartbreak, she leaves without a goodbye. Arik is furious when he can’t find her and he doesn’t count on how deeply he feels for her until she’s gone.
What Rosalie does not know is that Arik and the King (her brother-in-law) are related so when he shows up at the birthday celebration for the young Prince it’s a shock to say the least and tensions rise!
For the Sheikh’s Pleasure is truly a magical story full of passion, tenderness and discovery for both Rosalie and Arik.
Rosalie Winters is a challenge. Beautiful and aloof, she doesn't play the games of flirtation and seduction that Sheikh Arik Kareem Ben Hassan expects from women. She intrigues him with her lack of sophistication and guile. Arik realizes he must move slowly to gain her trust. Rosalie is quiet, even withdrawn, as though something has changed her. But Arik also knows that once she's at his command Rosalie will welcome the loving that only he can give her….Fp

Trish Morey amazes me each time I read one of her stories and this time is no exception. The Spaniard’s Blackmailed Bride is full of punch, power and passion and will have you reaching for a box of tissues.
Briar Davenport has no choice but to marry Diablo Barrentes to save her parents dignity, status and fortune. For if she does not marry Diablo, they will all be living on the streets, no longer living in Sydney’s elite society and the life they’ve been accustom to having for generations.
At times, this was a difficult book to read as you could not miss the attraction Briar felt for Diablo, how he could with just one look or slight touch ignite and melt her heart. But even more so was the inner fight Diablo felt each time he was near Briar and how he tried to shield himself from the emotion she stirred in him.
Briar’s feelings and honour bound behaviour for family was extremely moving. However, as she gets to truly know Diablo those feelings and conflicting emotions for her new husband and then her feelings for her family……well let’s just say you will feel the power of it all!
A marriage of convenience through blackmail? You’ll just have to read it to find out! Lust, attraction, all rolled into one and two unforgettable personalities….the devil himself, Diablo and the proud and stubborn Briar. Thanks Trish Morey for this story so full of attraction and passion.
Blackmailed into marriage to save her family, Briar Davenport aims to remain a virgin bride - for she despises her husband, Diablo Barrentes! But the sexy Spaniard's possessive touch sets her body on fire, making Briar abandon all her resolve and reason!
Despite the pleasure Diablo brings to her in the bedroom, theirs can never be anything but a marriage of convenience born out of revenge - or can it? As secrets are gradually revealed, Briar may come to realize that with Diablo it is better the devil you know...
