Since I've already talked about my favorite in one of your other contests, I will tell you about another holiday memory. When my first husband and I were getting ready to celebrate our second Christmas he asked me what I wanted. Well, back in those days they had these great boots called granny boots. That is what I wanted. Well he didn't want me to know he was getting them so he took my friend (we had the same size foot) with him to try them on. He had kept this secret for weeks in order to surprise me. Well my friend came over one evening a few days before Christmas and spilled the beans. She just started talking about how the salesclerk had looked at her so strange when she told her she was trying on boots for his (my husband was standing there) wife. So thats the story of how I got my granny boots for Christmas

My favourite holiday memory is the one when my husband presented me with a ring shaped like a rose with 10 rubies for the flower and 4 emeralds for the leaves to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary as it falls in the same month. It is not big but I love it and always wear it whenever possible.

I'm a follower :)

My favorite holiday memory has to be going to look at Christmas lights on Christmas Eve. So magical yet fun. Spending hours looking at lights with my Mom listening to Christmas carols. Awesome!

My birthday is on Christmas Eve....so I guess my favorite holiday memories would have to be celebrating my birthday as well as Christmas.

When I was born some 40+ years ago, the night before Christmas, they delivered me and took me away to clean me up. When they brought me back, they had put me in a stocking for my Mom. My dad used to just laugh and say I was the loudest present he ever got on Christmas.

My favourite holiday memory was when I was young and all of us were still living in my parents house. It was Christmas morning and everybody was hung over from partying the night before and we all looked at each other blearily across the breakfast table (or lunch table). It was peaceful and quite! That does not happen very often. Quite I mean :)

I would like to win this book! I am a new follower. My favorite holiday memory is going to my grandma's house on Christmas Eve and everyone in my family getting together and playing board games. I miss that!

My favorite memory is going out before christmas every year when I was young and looking at all the beautiful christmas lights. It's now something I do with my family.

My favorite memory is of my children ripping open their presents on Christmas morning and being so surprised that they got what they wanted.
