SCANDAL: UNCLAIMED LOVE-CHILD - Melanie Milburne (Sabbatini Brothers)

SABBATINI BROTHERS Three powerful playboys from the richest dynasty in Europe! Ruthless, irresistible…impossible to tame?

The Scandal:   Unclaimed Love-Child was quite the reunion and secret baby romance.  It was absolutely beautiful as crafted by the very talented Melanie Milburne.

Luc Sabbatini has cast his beautiful Bronte out of his life.  The reason why wasn't revealed until later in the book.  Now he was back in Australia to see if what they had before he had to urgently leave was still there and he wanted a second chance.

Bronte and her friend were now running a ballet school in Australia.  She and her daughter lived with her mother Ella.  Luc didn't know about Ella and she wanted it to stay that way.  So when he invited her out for dinner, she definitely said no but he literally blackmailed her because he now owned her building and he would raise her rent.  What to do, she feared he would find out about Ella.  He was rich and powerful and she didn't want to risk it.  After finding out she was pregnant, she couldn't try out for the ballet in London.  Having Ella was the best thing in her life and to have him find out after the years had passed would be horrible for Bronte.

Like all secrets, after their second meeting as his hotel, Bronte accidentally left her cell phone in his hotel room and when she called it, he answered but not before seeing the pictures of his baby girl, one who looked just her mother.  However, she didn't tell him the baby was her and she lied about the baby's age.  He wanted to resume their relationship but it was hard for her to forget the way he abruptly ended things, having one of his men bring her a farewell gift, telling her it was over.  On top of that, his housekeeper when she tried to get a hold of him, told Bronte, Luca was involved with someone else.  It was all very sad especially when he found out Ella was his child while meeting some of Bronte's friends where they were dining.  The other couple had a child born on the same day, mentioned it and Luca put two and two together.  Ella was his!  Talk about explosive and an upsetting scene.

Luca was furious and he immediately wanted to see Ella.  Bronte felt he had lost respect for her and he immediately wanted his name on his baby's birth certificate.  It didn't matter at all that Bronte had tried to contact him at his Milan villa and why he hadn't returned her phone calls.  Immediately, he made a decision.....they would move to Italy and she had no choice in the matter at all.  After all she had deprived him and his child of 13 months together.  So everything was building up like a storm, from making her move to Milan, the marriage demands and having their marriage be a "real" marriage in every way.

Did they argue.....yes!  She thought the marriage not only provided him with his child but also a bed partner.  When they were in London together, it was somewhat the same, a few nights here and there and he never took her on his business trips.  It was all about what suited him and then he abruptly ended it.  How would Bronte survive it all?  A ring on her finger, taking off in a jet bound for Italy, she apologized for some of her behaviour and thanked him for all he had done of Ella, her mother and her.  She only wished Luca would love her as much as he loved Ella and it seemed to me she was resigning herself to being married.  Then I wondered how his Italian family would respond to Bronte and the baby?  And of course there was the fact that Bronte realized she had blocked out her love for him to protect herself.  And of course what was the secret behind him breaking if off with her so quickly?  Another woman or an illness?

These Sabbatini Brothers are amazing.  I first read Giorgio and Maya's story, also a stormy one, Shock:  One-Night Heir and loved it.  So when I saw that Luca and Bronte's story was coming out in May, I jumped on the chance of picking it up.  Love those red hot Italians!  Talk about a bombshell when he shared his secret and the reason for leaving Bronte.  His reason was so unexpected and an interesting way to conclude this love story.  Scandal:  Unclaimed Love Child was a wonderful second story in the series.

He’ll claim his baby…by whatever means!

Billionaire Luca Sabbatini may have ruthlessly cast Bronte from his life…but he’d be lying if he said he’d forgotten this sweet ballerina.

That’s why he’s back, and ready to reawaken their lost passion. Only this time he finds Bronte isn’t quite so biddable!

Her better judgement is urging her to walk away. Bronte has been lured into Luca’s lair before… This time, however, the secret she’s hiding will have its repercussions!

Nicola Marsh has written a spectacular, light, fun and sexy romance with Sex, Gossip and Rock and Roll.

Imagine a young girl thrown out of her home by her mother as a teenager, scared to death, trying to survive the streets and ending up in a strangers back yard the CEO of Australia's biggest recording label.  And Hector Landry had taken Charli Chambers in and under his wing.  Now Hector's grandson Luca Petrelli was asked as a favor to his grandfather to oversee the financial part of the tour of an aging rock star.  Just reading the first pages of the book, I could tell that Charli was not happy to not only have the playboy Luca tagging along but she also had to oversee Storm Varth's comeback rock tour and also entertain his young son.

From the time Luca opened the door to Charli I just laughed because it was obvious there would be sensual tension of seismic power.  Oh was I spot on, it was amazing.  However, Charli harbored feelings against Luca because he hadn't seen his grandfather in ten years, the wonderful man who had given her a chance and had taken her in.  How could this playboy be so hurtful and she wasn't sure she would survive this trip, especially when this hot man should be "labeled illegal".  However, Luca in a way, also mistrusted Charli because after some research he discovered Charli accompanied his grandfather on trips, charity dinners and many functions.  She was quite the "package" and he wondered why Charlie was not like the usual staff Pops employed?

In the beginning the mistrust worked both ways.  Charli didn't understand why after all of these years, Luca was helping Hector and well Luca wondered as well about Charli's motives.  She made it clear that she wanted to know why now after all of these years he returned to help pops.  He told her it was none of her business.  They both had secrets, it was obvious and while reading further into this incredible book, they were revealed especially Luca's and why he was so bitter about his father and his childhood.  For his mother had been Rad Landry's mistress and she had tried to get him by getting pregnant with Luca.  It backfired big time, so much so that his father denied him but I wondered what about his grandfather Hector?  If he took in Charli, mentored her, why not Luca?  But Luca was determined to have her and keep it light because he didn't do emotion, he learned that lesson from the past and his parents.

There was intense emotion in Sex, Gossip and Rock and Roll, add to the mix the comeback rock star, his son, the sexual attraction, the sex, it all had me smiling and crying because they had both lost so much in their youth.  Charli craved stability and well Luca went through life making light of everything.  And they they spent the day together in bed, it changed everything for them both and they agreed to concentrate on work and not all of their hours making love.  They were so meant to be and it saddened me to read of their uneasiness with each other because they were spectacular together in every way that counted.  Honestly, Luca knew it as well plus the fact he felt guilty for not letting his grandfather into his life, thanks to his father.  However, they both made each other feel things then didn't understand, things they wanted to deny.  In the end, they were wary of their emotions but agreed to one last night before he left Australia and Charli.

So intense were their last hours together in her bedroom.  I wanted to shake them both because it was obvious they were crazy for each other.  How could he leave her behind and return to his world?  Because it was there in her eyes, their last time together.  She loved him and he didn't know how to love her back.  It would take Charlie a lifetime to recover from loving Luca.  Reading the final chapters I was tearing my hair out, hoping Luca would see what he walked away from.  He returned, spoke with his grandfather to get some answers about his father and his past and then went to see Charli a few days after originally leaving her.  It was a splendid reunion an incredible ending to a perfect love story.

Backstage Pass

In all her time as premier tour manager to Australia’s stars, Charli Chambers has never had someone as infuriating – or delectable! – as successful businessman Luca Petrelli along for the ride. He might always be in the gossip columns, but there’s no way she’s letting him claim VIP status!

But Luca’s wicked eyes are just too tempting… In spite of herself Charli’s soon attending after-parties – just for two. She wants to believe this is one duet that’s about to go platinum, but in spite of Luca being unprintably good in bed can she ever get close enough to the real Luca for their fling to be more than just a one-hit wonder?

Jane Porter has written one intense and glorious romance with a Dark Sicilian Secret.

Like the heroine with her alias of Jillian Smith, I actually believed as she did that her ex-lover Vittorio d'Severano was part of the Sicilian Mafia.  He certainly was powerful and ruthless as far as a successful business man.  It was obvious after reading several chapters that he had once loved Jillian.  However, now he had tracked Jillian and his infant son down in California and he was determined to take his son back home to Italy and to his family.  The hell with Jillian's feelings because she had hidden the fact that he was a father.  So no matter how she felt, she could come home with him and marry him or else!

Vittorio actually months earlier  felt she was the one. He had cared for her like no other woman.  But he put down firm ground rules she was to follow or he would take his son from her.  He just needed to remember she had lied and she had run and cut up his heart in the process.  She couldn't resist telling him it would kill her if their son turned out like him.  But he was sick of the rumors that he was a part of the mafia, because he knew he wasn't.  Yes, he had some secrets but he was not a criminal.  Her words cut through him.  But one learned later she had a reason to fear and hate the mob, because her own father had been a member and a killer.  Plus the fact that her sister had died because of him  and Jillian ran and feared her family in America would find and hurt her and her baby.  When she finally had the courage to tell Vitt who her father was, he felt sick because the man was a monster.

Would Jillian ever stop being afraid, would she ever trust her husband?  In the end, Jillian realized that Vitt was loyal, worked hard for his family and worked even harder trying to dispel the thoughts that they were part of the crime world.   Watching him with his son and family she realized she again loved him and trusted his integrity.  She also realized the most important, that Vitt wasn't a threat it was her family who were the threat and she found out in a most bizarre way.  You'll just have to hold on to your seat while reading the final chapters because it's full of action, fear and threats.  A Dark Sicilian Secret applied more to Jillian than Vitt and was an excellent read.

She can run…

Lethally attractive Vittorio d’Severano was everything Jillian Smith wanted – until she discovered his secret life and her dreams of a happy-ever-after crumbled into dust… Broken-hearted and terrified, Jill disappeared.

But she can’t hide!

Now Vitt has returned – to claim the tiny son Jill has sworn to keep from him! But to stay with her child she must put Vitt’s ring on her finger. Yet what kind of relationship can they have when it’s based on secrets…and a heat impossible to resist?

Honeymoon with the Rancher was an amazing and beautifully crafted love story by Donna Alward with two so very different people being brought together by unusual circumstances.

If your mother had tried to "direct" your entire life, wanted that perfect country club wedding, suggested you marry the right man and thought your boss to be that man how would you feel? The right man being a Canadian well known politician, a lying, cheating man who had a mistress. How would you have felt and how would you have chosen to react? Well you don't want to know my answer. However, Sophia Hollingsworth finally decided to take charge of her life. So she packed her bags thinking she was going to a 5 star hotel, taking designer clothes, stilettos and off she went solo to take advantage of the honeymoon that had never been cancelled. It had been booked in Argentina at the Esta Vista del Cielo. However, what she found was a dusty and very "homey" ranch, a sexy ranch hand and no reservation. On top of that, the ranch was being renovated due to a fire.....no spa, no pool and the employees were on leave while the ranch was being restored.

When the very sexy and handsome ranch hand greeted her she was stunned. He was determined she not stay but her taxi had left, he was alone taking care of the ranch. He saw her vulnerability, so he allowed her to stay. What she didn't know was Tomas was more than a ranch hand, he was part owner. He was an amazing looking man, mysterious and he believed her to be a spoiled rich girl. When he dropped the "bomb" this was a "working ranch”, which the guests all worked whether cooking, mucking out stalls, herding the cattle, simple ranch chores at first she was shocked. And then he taunted her and she was determined to prove herself. Not only to him but also to herself and let me tell you it was a most amazing transformation where Sophia was concerned. After a few days of shared barbs, they worked in sync, learned a little about each other and well the attraction was there and then some.

Tomas Mendoza was such a complicated man. He came from wealth but in college he met and became friends with Miguel, the son of Carlos and Maria. And then he met their daughter Rosa and fell in love. As much as his family wanted him to head up the family business, Tomas loved the ranch and Rosa and then when she was on her way to meet him in Buenos Aires, she was attacked and killed. So many layers of guilt but there was one thing for sure, he loved the ranch and wanted no part of corporate life, He was also sure of another thing, he was going to challenge Sophia because she insisted on staying and because Maria and her husband were taking a mini-vacation, he would have to somewhat make sure she enjoyed her stay. However, she was going to work for it just like all guests did whether it meant painting sheds, cooking, riding herd on the cattle; she would learn he meant business.

Sophia blossomed under Tomas guidance, his acceptance of how much she accomplished at the ranch. She loved learning new things, experiencing life and she got the ranch and him. She saw the simple beauty, the easy life. Just when she thought she was getting to know him better, he would close off. Tomas would share a little of himself and then he would retreat. Both of them felt the attraction, the sparks, in fact she even shared with him that she was a virgin. They shared some touches, kissing and even innocently slept together but it was torture for both of them and they both knew it would end. Tomas couldn't forget and he blamed himself for Rosa's death.

My heart ached for Sophia because of her experiences growing up, her honestly not knowing who she was or what she wanted but here at the ranch she learned quickly. However, she felt she might have taken this trip for revenge. But she was determined to make things better for herself and figure out who she was and where she was heading. But there was one thing for sure, the chemistry sizzled between Tomas and Sophia and she knew he was holding back and he had secrets. Soon she would have the opportunity to meet the other owners Carlos and Maria. As much as she was looking forward to it, she silently resented they wouldn't have their time alone. Seeing Tomas with Maria and Carlos made her realize the affection in her home hinged on conditions, achievements, and knowing the right people. Yet she knew her mother wanted the best for her. However, she also realized one thing that evening, "she would respect and accept herself".

There were only a few days left and Sophia enjoyed her time spent with Rosa's and Miguel's parents Maria and Carlos. Her heart ached however, because she was leaving the ranch and Tomas behind. She made a decision to move forward, leave a few days early to do some sightseeing before she had to leave Argentina. However, Tomas had other ideas and he went along with her because honestly, he didn't want to let her go. I felt while reading this, was this a good sign? Could he learn to let his guard down and share his feelings? Well I hoped so because love, acceptance and finding "home" is what it was all about! Honeymoon with the Rancher had a spectacular ending, one I will personally remember for a long time. If you want a warm and sincerely romantic read, then this one is for you!

UNDRESSED BY THE BOSS - Susan Stephens, Nicola Marsh, Anna Cleary

Sheikh Boss, Hot Desert Nights Casey Michaels has a new job in the desert. But, faced with her gorgeous boss’s potent sexuality, she suddenly feels out of her depth… Sheikh Rafik al Rafar knows an inexperienced woman when he sees one, and in the sultry heat of the desert he begins her sensual awakening. But royal duty is never far from their door…

Review: Again Susan Stephens charms her readers with a very steamy and sexy Sheikh Boss, Hotel Desert Nights.Sheikh Rafik (Raffa as he’s fondly called by Casey) is immediately drawn to the woman he’s sent for from England to help market his country.

Casey Michaels he realizes almost immediately is innocent however she amazes him with her business sense. Life has taught him many lessons and duty to his country is the most important thing in his life. However, she charms him and he’s drawn to her and fights it every step of the way.

Casey Michaels is determined to prove herself and win not only the marketing job but earn the respect of her employer, the sheikh. However, she as well doesn’t count on the intense attraction she feels towards him. She’s there to impress and impress she does when she takes on a charity auction, the proceeds to benefit the desert inhabitants. As she finally spends time in the desert, every thing heats up and not only the weather. Seeing Raffa in his own element with his people makes him more human, and not the playboy sheikh the press makes him out to be but a man of “simple tastes”.

Their love story was for the most part set in the desert, full of sensual tension until they make love and then everything becomes complicated for them both. Sadness like every journey takes place in the form of Casey realizing she must walk away only to have Raffa realize how important she was to him. Sheikh Boss, Hot Desert Nights was just a sweet and beautiful journey in finding happiness.

Behind the book from author’s website:

"I couldn’t resist another visit into the desert to unravel the secrets that lie behind the silken veil. I took a younger sheikh for this romantic adventure- a ruthless bad boy on the cusp of greatness, and gave him a determined young woman to go head to head with- in business, and in bed.

It was great to see Casey Michaels growing in confidence and in understanding of a very different culture- not to mention learning how to handle this dark and dangerous alpha male. I had the best time writing the book and hope you enjoy your journey behind the silken veil…" S. Stephens

The Boss’s Bedroom Agenda The instant Beth Walker comes face-to-face with her new boss – tall, tanned and incredibly toned Aidan Voss – they can’t take their eyes off one another. CEO Aidan has one rule of business: keep his personal life out of the office! But he’s moved Beth to the top of his to-do list…

Unfortunately I haven’t had the opportunity to read Nicola’s The Boss’s Bedroom Agenda. However, I can only guess it was incredible, just like the author because she has made me laugh, cry, smile with everything I’ve ever read of hers. I recently finished Sex, Gossip and Rock and Roll and loved it!

Taken by the Maverick Millionaire Cate Summerfield never meant to eavesdrop. But now she knows too much and powerful, brilliant Tom Russell must stop her from exposing details of an important deal. He’ll keep Cate very close – seducing the beautiful blonde will be no hardship at all!

Review: Anna Cleary has written an extremely, sensual and emotional-packed book which will make one forget whatever it was they were doing before they began reading Taken by the Maverick Millionaire. This is Anna’s second book set in beautiful Sydney which features the newspaper industry. It’s about secrets, corporate takeovers, a fake relationship which results in a rocky romantic journey for Cate Summerfield and Tom Russell.

Tom Russell, the proud and handsome son of the Russell Newspaper dynasty finds himself with three problems……his father has passed away leaving his fortune to charity, if a secret merger doesn’t happen he’ll loose his business and on top of that, the day of the funeral a rival newspaper woman overhears the secret details of that merger. What’s he going to do? He promises to give Cate Summerfield the scoop of the year if she’ll stay with him, pretend to be his mistress until the merger is complete.

Cate Summerfield comes from a middle class family, she’s has two loves, her ailing Grandmother and the desire to make her proud by becoming a successful newspaper woman. She’s recently had one bad relationship and it caused her Gran to suffer a heart attack when they were arguing beside her hospital bed. When Cate is given the chance to cover the Russell funeral and write the story, she’s over the moon. What she doesn’t count on is overhearing a discussion between Olivia West (publicist) and Tom who were making plans for a secret merger and if Cate scoops the story, it would take the Russell dynasty down! What she also doesn’t count on is her attraction for Tom and when she agrees to stay with him, her life if thrown into turmoil.

Both Tom and Cate have secrets and Taken by the Maverick Millionaire allows the reader to take their journey in a beautiful country, see the bond they form, see how they heal each other in the process, and in the end see how they learn to trust and declare their love for each other. It's quite an emotional and spirited love story; one that would light up any alpha's soul!

Strangers in the Desert was a most unusual "sheikh" romance as only the extremely talented Lynn Raye Harris can write. I*n order for this proud sheikh to move forward, he needed to deal with the past.  Here he thought his wife was dead and now she's been spotted in Hawaii......poor man!

Sheikh Adan and the entire country of Jahfar believed his wife was dead and that she had been buried in the sand, leaving behind Adan and their infant son Rafiq. However, Adam needed to marry in order to be crowned king and he also wanted a mother for Rafiq . An old friend Jasmine was a perfect choice. She would be an excellent mother and Queen. More so than his ex-wife Isabella.

So what could possibly go wrong? A fellow countryman spotted his ex-wife in Hawaii, using the name of Beth Tyler and she was a singer in a Hawaiian cocktail lounge. He immediately needed to confirm if there was a possibility she was alive and if so, how would this discovery affect his son and his country? He couldn't believe his eyes but for some reason Isabella didn't know Adan and he wondered if she was faking it for actually had amnesia. It all seemed quite strange reading their history, their arranged marriage, her immediately pregnancy, her father taking her to America to stay with her mother and how she got to Hawaii and I just knew this was going to be explosive in more ways than one could imagine.

Adan was determined to get to the bottom of things and so he literally dragged her back to Jahfar kicking and screaming, frightened and confused. Isabella realized one thing, she was a problem and an embarrassment. An issue to be dealt with. What she didn't understand was why her mother and father didn't tell her she had been married and then with a blow to her heart, she found out she had an infant son and in the end was told she was not going to see him. Well enough to that, Isabella couldn't remember Rafiq but if she were a mother she was going to see him, hold him, and Adan wasn't going to stop her. However, being the ruling sheikh and future King, Adan had other ideas. Even though the sparks flew between them, he didn't trust her so he confined her to the palace. However, his old nanny and a woman he loved like a mother, heard Isabella singing in her room and so did baby Rafiq, And then everything came crashing down upon them.

I got the distinct impression from reading about Adan's thought about their marriage, that Isabella was meek, mild and willing to please. However, not this new Isabella, she was fierce, determined and when she held her son nothing was going to stand in her way. They came to a mutual agreement, a two week period to see if Isabella could be trusted with her son and so he took them all, including Kalila the nanny and a minimal staff to a the Butterfly Palace located in the Jahfaran desert. It was so obvious Adan was concerned for his son because he loved him so much and he was afraid Rafiq would be confused. He was also concerned for Kalila his childhood nanny because she was older, should have been retired and he adored her. In the end, Adan's mistrust stemmed from his childhood because his mother used her son's as "show pieces", to brag to her friends and had never been much of a mother. It had been Kalila who had loved the raised the prince's not their mother. He was so attracted to Isabella but held back because she was so different now from the woman he married. She had spunk, was determined and she made him crazy from wanting to make love to her.

There was one thing for sure, she adored her son and with every breath fought her attraction for her husband, Adan, because he was still legally her husband until they could come up with legal documents so they could divorce and he could remarry. But there was one thing for sure, she was Rafiq's mother, she would not leave Zahfar and she would have a part in raising her son. But they were both confused as to why her parents had lied and how she survived the desert and why her father hadn't informed Adan she was alive. But that would have to wait, until her father returned from a business trip. I had my suspensions as to why, only meeting her husband a week before the wedding, being a virgin, him duty bound, her being left alone, pregnant immediately and giving birth alone. How depressing would that have been, thrust into royal life and alone?

Just like the hot desert sun, their passion blossomed and yet Adan held back his emotions. Sometimes he was curt with her, sometimes passionate yet she stood firm, so different from the woman she had been before the accident. And then it was time to return to the royal palace because Kalila had a heart attack, he was needed to govern his country. Plus there was the fact he need to speak with her father and get down to the bottom of things. Also proceed with the divorce? Bella, well she didn't agree with everything he said like she used but was she playing a game now so she could become queen? Also, first and foremost, was she play acting with their son to become queen? He didn't think so because he had watched her closely and he truly believed she loved their son.

Just when I thought they could all have it all, her father told Adan what had happened to Isabella and some of it was like I had suspected and some of it was not. And then, the divorce issues and papers were ready to sign. Add to that the complication of Jasmine and Adan's relationship and what she witnessed at the palace. But this new Isabella was stronger and I just knew she would survive. And would Adan realize all women were not like his mother and could be learn to trust his feelings for this beautiful woman.

I loved Strangers in the Desert for many reasons. The wounded young prince now in his adult life soon to be king and a caring and loving father. A woman transformed by an accident and her her singing. A darling sweet heir to the throne, Prince Rafiq and his doting nanny Kalila. A very unusual and powerful love story full of mystery and set in the desert.

Happy Mother''s Day

Mother's Love

Her love is like

an island in life's ocean,

vast and wide

A peaceful, quiet shelter

From the wind, the rain, the tide.

'Tis bound on the north by Hope,

By Patience on the West,

By tender Counsel on the South

And on the East by Rest.

Above it like a beacon light

Shine Faith, and Truth, and Prayer;

And thro' the changing scenes of life

I find a haven there.

And Grandma's too...

While we honor all our mothers

with words of love and praise.

While we tell about their goodness

and their kind and loving ways.

We should also think of Grandma,

she's a mother too, you see....

For she mothered my dear mother

as my mother mothers me.

ONE NIGHT IN MADRID - Kate Walker and Jennie Lucas

Spanish Billionaire, Innocent Wife - Kate Walker

The Spanish Billionaire, Innocent Wife was not only full of passion as only Kate Walker can write; it also was moving, full of tension with extremely believable characters. What touched me the most was Raul, he was so vulnerable with his feelings for Alannah yet intensely angry. Even though he displayed his Alpha characteristics he touched me because his feelings for her were hidden inside from the moment she lied and left him he never really got over the pain or loss. Raul’s love for his sister, his lost brother and his desire to produce an heir for his father will move anyone reading this incredibly beautiful love story.

From the moment one begins reading this story set in a hospital where Alannah mourns her dead brother and friend, Lorena who turns out to be Raul’s sister who has also passed, you just know that when Raul arrives on the scene the tension is going to explode……and it does with seismic force.

As their story unfolds before the reader’s eyes, the sexual tension, the emotion, the pain of their love for each other will rip out your heart especially when Alannah’s feelings about her love for Raul, her wanting to give him an heir and her uncertainly of his feelings for her, well trust me you won’t want to miss reading this wonderful and moving story.

The Spanish Billionaire, Innocent Wife is just another example of the amazing Kate Walker and her sensual and entertaining love stories.

The Spaniard's Defiant Virgin - Jennie Lucas

Marcos Ramirez is truly a “dark angel”! This Spanish alpha is to die for, he’s angry, he’s seeking revenge and yet he has a protective and extremely sexy side, he’ll melt your heart.

Tasmin is misunderstood by the press and all of London. She’s been deemed a wild heiress, a flirt and a spoiled beauty and actually she’s none of these…..she’s got a secret and she’ll do anything that has to be done to protect a family member. When Tasmin is kidnapped by the “dark angel” she realizes she is indeed in trouble because if she doesn’t follow her step brother’s instructions to marry the nephew of the sheikh to save the family business, she’ll not only be on the receiving end of his wrath she’ll not be able to protect her ten year old sister from her families abuse.

Marcos is seeking revenge, revenge for the loss of his family due to the Winters family greed and that of Aziz the nephew of the sheikh. He kidnaps Tasmin and is seeking revenge and plans to ruin Aziz and Tasmin’s brother’s business. What neither of them counts on is their strong attraction for each other and in the end they act upon it and can’t seem to stay away from each other.

When the time comes to set the revenge plan in motion, everything is turned upside down. You will be holding your breath during the last few chapters, trying to figure out the outcome. Trust me, it’s thrilling, full of suspense and passion, pleasure and you’ll be shedding some tears as well. It’s a lesson for all to learn……leave the past behind and look towards the future and thanks to Jennie Lucas and The Spaniard’s Defiant Virgin one will see how Marcos gives up revenge for love.
